8th online meeting DANCE of VdO (english below)
Am 27. Juni 2024 fand das 8. Online-Meeting der VdO für Tanzschaffende statt. Im ersten Teil wurde über den Stand der Tarifverhandlungen gesprochen. Gerrit Wedel stellte das Papier der Arbeitsgruppe Tanz der VdO vor, das tarifliche Forderungen aus dem Tanzbereich enthält und in die letzte Bundesdelegiertenversammlung (BDV) zur Diskussion eingebracht wurde. Danach sprachen die Teilnehmer*innen über die geplante Kündigung des NV Bühne durch GDBA und BFFS zum Ende des Jahres - die VdO hat auf Beschluss der BDV keine Kündigung ausgesprochen. VdO-Mitglieder sind weiterhin tarifgebunden.
Im zweiten Teil des Meetings gab die renommierte Ballettmeisterin Laura Graham von der Semperoper Dresden einen Impuls zur besonderen Situation von Ballettmeister*innen, die einerseits Weisungen geben, auf der anderen Seite aber auch Weisungen erhalten und so oft zwischen allen Stühlen sitzen, wenn es um ihre Sorgen und Nöte geht. Wir bedanken uns bei allen Teilnehmer*innen für den regen Austausch.

VdO's 8th online meeting for dance professionals took place on 27th September.
The first part discussed the status of collective bargaining. Gerrit Wedel presented the dance working group's paper, which contains collective bargaining demands from the dance sector and was submitted for discussion at the last Federal Assembly of Delegates (BDV).
The participants then spoke about the planned termination of NV Bühne by GDBA and BFFS at the end of the year - VdO did not issue any termination following the decision of the BDV. VdO members are furthermore bound by the collective agreement.
In the second part of the meeting, the renowned ballet master Laura Graham from the Semperoper Dresden gave an impulse on the special situation of ballet masters who, on the one hand, give instructions, but on the other hand also receive instructions and are often caught between chairs when it comes to their worries and troubles.
